We are having the exact same issue.
As per the tutorial we created the oData Service and tested it via IE, worked fine with Basic Authentification (passing the SAP User Credentials).
As soon as we are trying to consume it via Sharepoint-App it tries to connect via NTLM Authentification which for sure will not work.
How to change the Sharepoint-App to use credentials and how to store the User + PW in the coding?
Any help highly appreciated.
