There maybe scenarios where the user wants to be able to select by city first or ONLY by city (NOT by state)..
- The xlf should already allow this. You should be able to select and filter just by Austin for example.
Also, in webi, there is a default 'All values' (All State) that appears. How can I acheive the same in dashboards? So the list box will display All, Texas, Georgia. Similarly for Cities.
-- There is no straightforward way to do this. You have to either bring the data set with "All " in it or within Xcelsius add a column next to city column and type All in all the rows.
If you are sourcing your data from WebI, best to create the All row in Webi and then bring that over to Xcelsius.
